I’m Carmen and I own Studio Thirtytwo – Central Queensland’s exciting one stop shop for Photography, Beauty and Holistic Healing. I have been photographing professionally since 2011, and I have always had a passion for photography since I was little. My business was previously known as Carmen Howells Photography, however, I changed the name in 2018 as we became a family business and added new services other than photography to our repertoire.
I found myself drawn to Holistic Healing in 2015. It helped me cope with my everyday busy, stressful life and give me a sense of calm. I enjoy helping others and being able to speak from my experiences, so I studied the art of Reiki and became a Reiki Master in 2020. Every year I continue to learn new skills and techniques and bring these services to you, my amazing clients.
I am married to my best friend Greg who claims to be the best assistant ever, (he actually is, but I’m not going to boost his ego too much). You will see him at most of my photography sessions or weddings taking behind the scene photos, driving me around or carrying all of my gear. We are a great team and have a blended family. We have 3 talented daughters who all have created their own side businesses in beauty, all whilst working full time. They occasionally help me out as well. Greg and I both work full time and in our spare time we love to travel and explore our great country and overseas. We both love meeting new people and being able to create new memories.
We found it a little hard to join all the services we offer under one banner but I hope this site is easy to navigate for you.

Our studio is situated at 32 Stenlake Avenue, Kawana, North Rockhampton, Queensland. It is a perfect, peaceful location for you to have Studio Portraits, Pamper Parties or a relaxing Facial, Reiki or Access Bars session.
